Meet Our Staff

Shelley McClellan, PT, DPT, FAFS

Shelley McClellan is a Fellow of Applied Functional Science and Doctorate trained physical therapist who has practiced physical therapy since 1998. She has worked with varied clientele and enjoys patients across the lifespan with varied functional demands. As a mom, she is passionate about many health and wellness issues facing our youth today.

For seven years, Shelley was employed as the lead physical therapist for the Phoenix Suns team physician Richard Emerson, where she was part of a dynamic health care team providing care to many professional and amateur sports teams and athletes including injury prevention, sports performance, as well as rehabilitation. During a 3-year relocation to the beautiful state of Montana, she focused on geriatric care providing care to people up to 105 years old.

Shelley completed the Fellowship of Applied Functional Science (FAFS) program through the Gray Institute in 2010 and the Nike Golf NG 360 GPS certification program in 2012. Her philosophy of patient care is that every session is an evaluation of the whole kinetic chain and how the whole system is integrated into the unique demands of an individual. It is an inspiring process for both the therapist and the client when wellness takes root where pain or inability had been.

Yolanda Esparza, DPT

Yolanda earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University-Phoenix Biomedical in 2015. She has experience with Traumatic Brain Injuries, post op rehab, return to play rehab for athletes, and all other orthopedic injury. Yolanda is also a provider of the Graston Technique. In her spare time, Yolanda enjoys Olympic lifting, going on long walks with her dog, and Netflix binge watching with her fiancé.

Mandi Sharp, Patient Care Coordinator

Mandi is the patient care coordinator for Alliance, here to take care of all of your administrative and patient needs. She is a an experienced office assistant from various industries and systems. She is an Arizona native and in her spare time enjoys watching hockey and movies.
